The Neva-5 (Russian: Нева-5) is a standard-gauge, single-bed domestic knitting machine manufactured in Leningrad, USSR (later Saint Petersburg, Russia) by the Karl Marx Leningrad Machine-Building Association.[1]
It is a manual flatbed machine featuring 200 latch needles and a 5mm needle pitch. The Neva-5 is highly popular among vintage knitting machine collectors and enthusiasts for its simple, durable mechanical design.
