The Brother FB 100 is an external 3.5-inch floppy disk drive accessory. It was designed to save and load custom electronic stitch designs and garment shaping patterns for Brother electronic knitting machines.
Connectivity[edit]
- Connects via a specialized serial data cable directly to the data port of the electronic machine carriage or the Brother PPD 100 cartridge adapter.
- Uses double-density (DD) 3.5" floppy disks to store stitch patterns, which can then be read back into the machine's internal memory.
