The Toyota KS-950 is the final and most advanced standard-gauge punchcard knitting machine manufactured by Aisin Seiki (Toyota Group).[1]
Integrated Lace Mechanism[edit]
Unlike other punchcard machines that require a separate lace carriage to transfer stitches, the defining feature of the Toyota KS-950 is its integrated lace transfer capability:
- The main carriage has built-in transfer logic, allowing it to perform both stitch transfer and knitting in a single pass.
- This eliminates the need for a separate lace carriage accessory, simplifying lace garment knitting.
