The Brother KR 830 is a standard-gauge (4.5 mm pitch) ribbing attachment designed for Brother flatbed metal knitting machines. It adds a front needle bed with 200 needles, allowing the knitter to perform double-bed knitting techniques automatically.

- Stitch Variety: Enables automatic 1x1 rib, 2x2 rib, English rib, fisherman's rib, and full needle rib.
- Circular & U-Knitting: Allows for knitting tubular fabric (such as seamless socks and sleeves) and U-shaped flat panels.
- Double Jacquard: When paired with a patterning main carriage, it can knit double-bed jacquard colorwork with a clean, floatless back.
