The Brother KH-890 is a standard-gauge punchcard knitting machine manufactured by Brother in 1985.[1] It is extremely similar in design and capabilities to the KH-881 and KH-891 models.
Features[edit]
- Gauge: 4.5 mm pitch (Standard Gauge) with 200 needles.
- Knit Leader: Features a built-in Knit Leader (pattern drafting device) on the left side of the machine frame, allowing knitters to follow full-scale garment shapes.
- Patterning: Standard 24-stitch punchcard patterning for tuck, slip, fair-isle, weave, and lace. Sinker plate includes tuck rubber wheels. Comes standard with single motif settings and a plating feeder.
Compatible Accessories[edit]
- Ribber: Fully compatible with Brother standard-gauge ribbers, including the KR-830 and KR-850.
- Color Changers: Works with KRC-830 and KRC-900 double-bed color changers.
