The Brother KH-270 is a highly popular bulky gauge electronic knitting machine manufactured by Brother and sold under both the Brother and KnitKing brands.[1] It features 114 needles spaced 9.0 mm apart and is widely regarded as one of the finest bulky electronic machines ever produced.

- Gauge: 9.0 mm needle pitch (Bulky Gauge).
- Needle Bed: Heavy-duty steel bed containing 114 needles.
- Patterning: Uses electronic patterning with a built-in memory containing 288 pre-programmed patterns. It features a cartridge port to load custom designs and can connect to external pattern controllers.
- Carriage controls: The carriage has Russell levers for short-rowing (holding position) and electronic sensors that track position along the bed. It can knit tuck, slip, fair-isle, and garter stitch patterns automatically.
