The Brother Fine Bar is a thin, flexible plastic or metal strip inserted directly into the needle bed channels of standard-gauge knitting machines.
Use Case[edit]
- When knitting with extremely fine or thin yarns, the needles are very small and may fail to latch properly, leading to dropped stitches.
- The fine bar holds the needle shafts down and prevents them from lifting too high during carriage passes, ensuring smooth loop formation and stitch consistency.
